Vegvisir

I know that most people in the 60's and 70's probably didn't have tattoos but I like them. I don't think that I will ever end up with a full sleeve. Anyway I found my next tattoo, a viking compass (my heritage as I'm pretty sure that I'm the first one in my family who have ever left Sweden to move to another country..) which it's called Vegvisir, Vägvisare (swedish) and If I direct translate it into english "way pointer" = compass!
Apparently the world's cutes, Björk has one.

BLOW UP (1966)

Last night me and my boyfriends started to watch the classic movie, Blow Up from 1966. Unfortunately it's not easy to stay up past midnight if you been studying all day and then went to the gym for 2 hours earlier that day. So I can't say if the movie was good or not BUT the piece of clothing that I saw was really inspirational, very Mary Quant and very futuristic space age with cool cars. The costume designer for the movie is Jocelyn Richards which also was the costume designer for the James Bond movie "From Russia with love (1963)" which by the way has an awesome movie poster.

Bikini season

So the summer is just around the corner although the summer in San Francisco is suppose to be the coldest winter Mark Twain ever felt but as I'm going back to visit friends and family in sweden this summer I might be luckier with the weather.

My name is Sara Ljung and I'm a fashion stylist major at City college in San Francisco.
I'm originally from a small town in Sweden but I moved to San Francisco in fall 2012 to start studying.

My biggest interest is everything that has to do with the 60's and 70's, especially the psychedelic and bizarre. 

I daily get questions where I find my clothes which right now tends to lean against the late 60's psychedelic era. So I thought it might be a good idea to share some of my finds here and also random thought and photos from my favorite era.
